VB-G RAM G [Viksit Bharat-Guaranty for Rozgar and Aajeevika Mission (Rural), 2025]
The “Viksit Bharat-Guaranty for Rozgar and Aajeevika Mission (Rural), 2025” has been implemented in the State with effect from July 01, 2026. The implementation, supervision, and monitoring of this scheme are being managed by the Directorate of Rural Development under the Department of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj.
The Commissioner for Rural Development is appointed as the head of the Directorate. Operating under the Commissioner is a team comprising the Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Advisor, Joint Directors for Administration, Technical, Horticulture and Agriculture, along with Assistant Directors, Accounts Officers, subject matter experts, and other staff members.
To achieve the objectives of the Viksit Bharat-Guaranty for Rozgar and Aajeevika Mission (Rural) scheme, the Directorate provides necessary guidance and instructions to the districts regarding its implementation and supervision. As per the Act, the Directorate makes all necessary preparations and drafts reports required for conducting the meetings of the State Rural Employment Guarantee Council, State Steering Committee, and Executive Committee constituted at the state level. Furthermore, it consolidates the “Viksit Gram Panchayat Plans” received from the districts, presents them before the Steering Committee, and submits the proposal to the Central Government.
The scheme is funded by the Central and State Governments in a 60:40 ratio. The Directorate is responsible for preparing and submitting timely proposals for the release of grants, as well as submitting the corresponding Utilization Certificates (UCs).
