Hosakote Lake

Hosakote Lake is located near Hosakote town in Bengaluru Rural district. The lake has an area of ​​about 809 acres. Due to the area of ​​the lake and the good environment, not only local birds like storks but also flamingos found in European countries migrate and stay for a month or two and then return. Teams of bird lovers arrive on Saturdays and Sundays to capture them in photographs. During the bird census, 227 species of birds were found, 40% of which are migratory birds.
