Hullukudi Betta is located sakkaregollahalli village, Doddaballapur Taluk of Bengaluru Rural District. It is a beautiful place with natural beauty, During the period of the Vijayanagara kings, Hulukudi was under the rule of the lords. There are inscriptions of the Gangara-Hoysala period on the hill. A beautiful idol of Veerabhadraswamy built during the Chola period is enshrined in a stone cave temple on the hill. Devotees believe that circumambulation of this circular hill is like circumambulating Mount Kailasa. Special puja will be held on Mondays, Fridays and Sundays to Lord Veerabhadraswamy on the hill. Stairs have been constructed to climb the hill. There is a shade system to block the sun while climbing the steps. At the top of the hill lies Kalyani. Accommodation facility is provided by Hulukudi Veerabhadraswamy Trust at the foot of the hill. Annadasoha is held on Monday, Friday and Sunday. Every year on Rathasaptami day in the month of February, Rathotsava is held.
